Jessops.com offers various ways for customers to pay online. These include Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express, Diners Club, Switch and Solo payment cards, and Paypal. Jessops.com offers a variety of photo services with different prices. For Photo Printing Service, the cost varies depending on the size and type of print. For instance, a 6x4" print costs 49p for Instant, 40p for 1 Hour, and 35p for Next Day. A 12x18" print costs £9. They also offer Retro small print (4x3.5") for 50p and Retro large print (5x4.5") for 70p.

For Photo Tiles, the price per tile decreases as the quantity increases. A single tile costs £19.99, but if you buy more than 13 tiles, the price per tile drops to £9.00.

They also offer Wall Art with prices starting from £5.00 for Poster Prints and going up to £28.00 for Canvas. Personalised Banners start from £10.00.

In terms of In-store Gifting, prices range from £2 for Fridge Frames and Greeting Cards to £19.99 for Calendars. Passport Photos cost £9.95.

They also provide a Restore & Revive Service where the cost of transferring a VHS tape to DVD or a Camcorder tape to DVD is £25.00. Image Restoration (up to 12x8”) costs £30.00 and Audio Cassette to CD is priced at £20.00.

At Jessops.com, the Return Policy is as follows: Returns can only be accepted for manufacturing faults and defects and/or transit damage to the product. Due to the customised nature of their photo products, they are unable to offer returns for any orders that contain customer errors including poor image quality, blank pages or spelling mistakes. Customers are advised to check their order within 7 days of receipt. Unfortunately, customers cannot cancel an order once it has been placed. If a customer receives a damaged or incorrect order, they should contact Customer Services.

In terms of Shipping Policy, Jessops offers free delivery on all UK orders over £50. Any deliveries scheduled to arrive on the Saturday or Bank Holiday will be delivered the following working day. Their warehouse is closed on Bank Holidays so orders placed on a Bank Holiday will not be processed until the following working day. Delivery to Channel Islands, Isle of Man & Isle of Wight is charged at £15. Orders under £50 will be subject to a charge of £4.49 (for addresses in mainland UK). Delivery time is up to 5 working days, if items are in stock. They deliver Monday to Saturday, 8am - 6pm only. No deliveries will be made on Sundays or Bank Holidays. If a customer would like their Order to be delivered on a Saturday there will be an additional charge. Once an order has been dispatched, customers will receive notification from DPD to confirm tracking information. They will send regular updates with the status of the order and will also provide a DPD consignment number which customers can use to track the status of their delivery. Tracking information becomes available on the day of delivery.

Jessops, a British photographic retailing company, was established in 1935 by Frank Jessop in Leicester, United Kingdom. The company quickly grew under the leadership of Jessop's son, Alan Jessop, who transformed it into a cut-price retailer of photographic equipment. By the 1970s, it had outgrown its premises and moved to a new 20,000 sq ft site on Hinckley Road in Leicester, which was named as the largest photography store in the world by Guinness World Records. The shop later closed in 2008. A second store followed at the start of the 1980s on London's Finchley Road and as personal cameras became more popular and affordable for the masses, the firm quickly expanded to more than 50 shops. The company initially reaped the rewards of the boom in digital cameras, investing heavily in digital technology as the medium took over from traditional film, and by 2001 the number of Jessops branches on the high street had swelled to more than 200. A year later, Jessops announced it was to open a further 40 stores, creating 400 new jobs and taking the total to more than 250. As Britain's only specialist nationwide camera retailer it sold brands including Canon, Fuji, Kodak, Nikon, Olympus and Sony. As well as offering a wide range of digital cameras and accessories, the company provided a service for customers to develop digital pictures in its stores, and introduced Jessops branded paper for home printing. And along with camera equipment, the business also stocked digital and analogue camcorders, binoculars and darkroom and studio equipment. The firm had ceased being a family-run business in 1996 after Alan Jessop retired and was sold in a management buyout. Then in 2002, Dutch bank ABN Amro's venture capital arm bought Jessops for £116 million. But by the middle of the decade, the company began to struggle to compete when other high street and internet competitors entered the market. In 2004, it was floated on the London Stock Exchange. A major overhaul followed in 2007 along with a swathe of store closures. In 2009, Jessops came close to collapse but was rescued by its main lender HSBC in a controversial debt-for-equity swap that saw it taken off the stock market. Since then, Jessops has been revamping stores and boosting its online business as part of efforts to get back on track. It rolled out a completely new format with a new black store frontage and so-called play tables that allowed customers to look at cameras, in a move away from traditional cabinet displays. But today's announcement shows this has not been enough to keep it in business.
